A Chinese company has accused Apple of having plagiarized his product with the iPad. Shenzhen Great Loong Brother has reported to the company Steve Jobs have copied the “tablet” that the Asian firm launched six months ago and is called p88.
The complainant company says that Apple has copied the model of p88, a multipurpose computer with touch screen, though of greater weight and size as the device from the company on the block.
There are some differences between both products. The main concerns the processor and battery capacity while the iPad has a life of ten hours, the “tablet” China is barely an hour and a half. There is a distinction that has to do with the cost. The Chinese company product sells for around $ 535, while the base model of the device will cost $ 499 Jobs.
Shenzhen Great Loong Brother, who has stated to the press which presented its p88 during the International Fair of Electronics in Berlin, does not rule out legal action against Apple over plagiarism if the U.S. company decides to launch its flagship product in the local market Asia, therefore, as announced by the company president Wu Xialong.
But this is not the only problem you might face Apple iPad since the mark is a registered trademark in Europe by the Japanese group STMicroelectronics since September 2000, published by French newspaper Le Tribune, but cites no source.
