It’s been a while since we posted about the ASUS Eee Pad ASUS Eee Pad News and we have some fresh news out of the oven.

First of all it’s widely known that the ASUS Eee Pad will be released in both Android and Windows versions, and the once thing we know is that the Android version will be released some time in March 2011 and it’ll cost around $399, where the Windows 7 Version will cost the heft amount of $1000 which will put it in a serious disadvantage from the Android version and it’s main competitor Apple’s Ipad ASUS Eee Pad News.

But news don’t stop there, it seems that the ASUS Eee Pad Windows 7 version will have the following specs:

  • a 1GHz dual core Tegra CPU,
  • 8.9-inch 1024×600 pixels display Screen
  • Of course WiFi connectivity
  • GPS
  • 0.3 Megapixels VGA camera
  • Bluetooth 2.1,
  • HDMI output
  • 16 or 32 GB of internal storage
  • 4 to 6 hour long lasting battery
  • And it’ll weight artound 650 grams (about 1.43 lbs)
